misheard lyrics

today i am enjoying the beautiful snowfall and preparing to (hopefully) have an uneventful drive to work. as usual, i am enjoying some itunes. on shuffle.

shuffle is my favorite ipod feature. because some really embarassing or ridiculous song comes on, and it reminds me of many things. and today, a song came on and reminded me of andrea, so i may as well just go with that for a theme.

i own ONE pop CD. and i didn't buy it. roxanne burned it for me. but it makes me shake my butt and sing loudly. i am afraid to even say what it is. and while it's not necessarily critical to the entry.... i may as well just say it to satisfy.

yes, i'm thoroughly embarassed. wouldn't be the first time today.

anyway, this cd got a lot of play when it was first burned for me. for a while, i'd listen to it for car dancing purposes. then i'd play it to annoy alex, which worked for a short period of time until he admitted JT was "talented". hahaha. then i'd listen to it with the girls. because we liked it.

there's a line in one song (i cannot recall which) that says "the air is thick and smellin' right". best part of this line? andrea thinks he says "the air stick is smellin' right".

i love my friends and the silly things they say.

my thought for you for the day is to remind yourself of something dumb/funny/weird your friends/family have said... and remind THEM. could make someone's day a lot better.
